Aligned Founders ("we", "us") runs a convergence retreat and mastermind for founders. This site is alignedfounders.world. Questions about your information can be raised through our contact form.
When you apply or join a waitlist, we collect the details you choose to give us, typically your name, email, business stage, and what you tell us about your situation. If analytics are enabled, we also collect anonymised usage data (pages visited, approximate region, device type) to improve the site.
Because the retreat includes intensive breathwork and energetic work, the application asks, in confidence, about relevant health conditions and your wellbeing at the time of applying. We use this only to assess fit and to keep you safe, share it only with the facilitators making that call, and keep it out of marketing entirely. Some admissions may require written medical clearance.
Your information stays private, and we keep it away from any sale. What you share in an application stays between you and the co-founders involved in your conversation.
After a retreat, we invite reflections through a feedback form. Name and email there are optional. Your words appear publicly as a testimonial only when you choose a testimonial option in the form, and you may withdraw that consent at any time through our contact form.
To spot themes and improve each retreat, our team may review anonymised feedback with AI-assisted tools, including Claude by Anthropic. Your name and email are never included, and any interpretation is made by our founding team. You may opt out of AI-assisted analysis in the feedback form, and your reflections are still read and valued directly by the team.
We hold your information under GDPR (EU and UK), PIPEDA (Canada), and applicable US state laws (including CCPA and CPRA). Responses are retained for up to three years unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Access is limited to the co-founders.
We use a small number of trusted services to run this site, for applications, scheduling, payments, and analytics. Each processes only the data needed to do its job.
This site uses minimal cookies, essential ones to make it work, and (if enabled) analytics cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
At any time you may ask us to: access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, withdraw a consent you gave, receive a portable copy (GDPR), or opt out of any sale (CCPA). Reach us through our contact form and we will respond within 30 days. You can unsubscribe from any email with the link in that email. For GDPR concerns, you may also contact your local supervisory authority.
Your deposit is non-refundable and secures your place in the retreat. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the retreat start date.
Transfer requests may be considered in writing, subject to approval and availability. If we cancel the retreat, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your payment to a future retreat. Approved refunds are processed within 14 to 30 business days.
