By paying your deposit, you agree to the Retreat Booking Agreement below. This summary is for clarity; the full agreement governs your booking.
Participation is by application and approval only. Each gathering is curated to preserve quality and coherence. Acceptance is not final until the deposit is received.
Your investment includes the experiences and services described on the retreat page at the time of purchase. Flights and any exclusions stated on the booking page are not included.
A booking is secured by the deposit or payment schedule stated at checkout or in your invoice. The initial deposit is non-refundable and is applied toward your total retreat investment. Any remaining balance must be paid by the due date in your booking confirmation.
Your deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel on or before the cancellation deadline stated in your booking confirmation, you may be eligible for a partial refund or retreat credit, less the non-refundable deposit and any non-recoverable expenses already incurred. Cancellations after the deadline are non-refundable.
We may, in our sole discretion, allow a transfer of your place to another approved guest if the request is made in writing and before the applicable deadline. Any replacement guest must meet our curation standards and complete any required application or approval steps. A transfer is not guaranteed.
From time to time, we may offer transfer opportunities or waitlist access to selected guests from our current clientele. Any such opportunity is limited, subject to screening, and offered only when it aligns with the retreat container and availability.
If we are prevented from holding the retreat, in whole or in part, by an event beyond our reasonable control (including natural disaster, fire, flood, pandemic, government restriction, civil unrest, venue closure, or significant travel disruption), we may reschedule the retreat, modify the format, or offer a credit or refund depending on what is possible under the circumstances. We are not responsible for losses arising from events beyond our control.
You are responsible for arranging your own travel documents, insurance, health coverage, and any personal items you bring to the retreat. You are also responsible for arriving on time, following retreat guidelines, and using your own judgment regarding your participation in all activities.
You acknowledge that retreat activities may involve physical, emotional, and travel-related risks. By participating, you voluntarily assume all such risks to the fullest extent permitted by law and confirm that you are responsible for consulting appropriate professionals regarding your own health and fitness for participation.
Because this is a curated container, we expect respectful, considerate, and confidential conduct at all times. We reserve the right to decline or remove any participant whose behavior disrupts the retreat, compromises safety, or materially affects the experience of others, without refund.
Unless you notify us otherwise in writing before the retreat, you consent to the use of photographs, video, or audio taken during the retreat for promotional, educational, or editorial purposes. We will always use discretion and respect the integrity of the experience.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the retreat. Our total liability, if any, will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the retreat.
This Agreement will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Aligned Founders is organized, unless otherwise stated in your booking documents. Any disputes will be handled in that jurisdiction, unless the law requires otherwise.
This Agreement, together with your booking confirmation, application approval, and any policies referenced herein, constitutes the entire agreement between you and us regarding your retreat booking. Any changes must be made in writing.
